Let me just say I cannot stand the word, “thot.” It’s clearly the new derogatory word du jour for women. Thot, slut, ho… the list goes on and on…and let’s be honest, these words are thrown indiscriminately at women who just won’t do whatever society has deemed appropriate, meaning women who are outside the control of men. But, that’s another conversation for another day.

Since the word “thot” got you to click on this blog, let’s talk about why rich/famous men love thots. If you’ve read my book you probably already know why. I break down this phenomenon in the chapter, “What You Can Learn From Strippers And Groupies.” But, recent headlines about thots and Instagram models in hotel rooms with famous athletes makes me want to talk about it some more.

Why are rich/famous men so enamored with women who people love to call these names? It is because these women know exactly how to get rich/famous men’s attention. Now, you may think that it is because they use sex, and yes, that is part of it. But, there is way more to it than just sex. These women know what rich/famous men want and they also know exactly how to attract them. “The women called ‘groupies’ [thots] have and use skills that most average women don’t. They understand how to project the image needed to get who they want. In other words, they understand that, ‘You are who you attract.’ These women have ‘baited their hooks’ to catch exactly what they want.” – Date Like A Woman
