Honestly, life has been pretty tough lately. My daughter was admitted to a hospital about 40 minutes from home, and I’ve been juggling caring for her and my mom while still managing the house and work. To say it’s been hard would be an understatement. Still, I’m choosing to focus on gratitude, that I’m able to drive back and forth, that both of them are getting the care they need, and that despite everything, nothing has fallen through the cracks. Most importantly, my mom and daughter are both in good spirits through it all. It’s not easy, but there is a bright side and that’s where I keep my focus: staying grateful and believing in a positive outcome.
