Yesterday, I stood alongside my daughter at her high school protest against ICE and this administration. Saying I’m proud of her doesn’t even begin to cover it. She helped organize the protest and helped lead the march, and witnessing that level of courage and leadership was incredibly moving. Being surrounded by so many young people standing up for what’s right gives me real hope for the future. These students are inspiring and they’re absolutely right. This administration, its racism, and its fascism must end. What gives me the most hope is knowing these young people are the future voters. Fascism has no place here, and they understand that clearly.
