Following your intuition and doing the right thing can be difficult, especially when it seems like selfish, dishonest people are benefiting from deception. It can feel deeply unfair to watch those who lie or take advantage of others appear to get ahead. But one thing I’ve learned is that time has a way of revealing the truth. Eventually, masks slip, secrets surface, truth is revealed, and people show who they really are. That’s why it’s important to stay true to your values, even when it’s hard. You want to be able to look back and know that you stood on the right side of things. While dishonest people may enjoy temporary rewards, the truth has a way of coming to light. And when it does, you can rest knowing that you chose integrity, even when it wasn’t the easiest path.
