Until we acknowledge that the United States was built on stolen land, stolen labor, and the genocide of Indigenous peoples, and make meaningful restitution for those atrocities, this country will never truly be great.
Today, we acknowledge Indigenous Peoples Day, honor the people whose land was stolen, and remember the history this country too often tries to erase.
No one is illegal on stolen land.
