The ongoing attempt to erase the true history of this country is not just an act of revisionism, it is a direct attack on Black and Indigenous communities, on our identities, our legacies, and our undeniable contributions to this nation. The erasure of our history is an effort to diminish our presence, to deny the truth of our struggles, and to strip away the recognition we have rightfully earned.
But let me remind you: we have survived worse. We have endured centuries of oppression, systemic injustice, and deliberate attempts to silence us, yet we are still here. Thriving. Resilient. Unbreakable.
No one can erase our existence. No one can take away the impact we have made and continue to make. Hold your ground. Speak your truth. Refuse to be erased. Keep fighting for what is right, because our history, our voices, and our future are worth defending.
