Today is errand day, and I’m getting everything in order for the start of the week. But something I’ve learned over time is the importance of balancing productivity with self-care. Ever since I started prioritizing myself, I make it a point to include time for rest and recovery, even on busy days like this.
This small but intentional shift has made a world of difference. My health and mental well-being have improved tremendously, and I feel so much more centered and capable of handling life’s demands.
Ladies, let this be your reminder: this year, do NOT burn yourself out trying to do everything for everyone. Put yourself first. Your well-being matters more than any task or to-do list. The work will always be there, but if you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to show up for anything, or anyone, else. Prioritize you. You’re worth it.
