Good Morning World!!

“When you say ‘yes’ to others make sure you are not saying ‘no’ to yourself.” – Paulo Coelho

My superpower has always been making people feel confident and loved. For most of my life, I directed this power toward others, believing that if I poured enough love and support into the people around me, family, partners, and friends, they would eventually do the same for me. I went out of my way to meet their needs, to lift them up, and to help them flourish, thinking that one day, the love I invested in them would find its way back to me. But it didn’t.

It took me years to realize that I was neglecting myself while I was pouring my energy into others. I thought that if I gave enough, it would be reciprocated, but over time, I saw that I was left empty while others thrived on the support I provided. Then, last year, I made a choice. I decided to turn that power inward, to reclaim my power and use it where I needed it most, on me. The difference has been transformational. My mental health has strengthened, my self-confidence has blossomed, and my life feels fuller than ever.

Here’s what I’ve learned: stop giving more to others than you give to yourself. No one will ever be able to love or support you as fully as you can. When you love yourself deeply, you create a foundation that no one else can shake. So take back your superpower and use it on you, build yourself up, lift yourself higher, and watch as your life transforms.

Happy Monday!
