Recently I spoke with a friend about how much we both appreciate the simple life. It was decades ago when I left the country for the first time that I realized I could be extremely happy with very little. Although I have been fortunate in my life to experience amazing things, I always come back to feeling happiest when my life is much less complicated. At this point in my life, no amount of money could ever make me want to give up my happiness.
