This might be the first April Fools’ Day where I can’t think of a joke worse than the current state of our country. Some days, I laugh just to keep from crying, but the truth is, there’s nothing funny about what these unqualified grifters are doing to dismantle our democracy. They don’t play fair because they believe they can get away with their crimes, and too often, they do. But that doesn’t mean we’re powerless.
We still have the ability to fight back, and we must. Every financial decision we make can send a message. Stop supporting businesses that fund these clowns and their dangerous agendas. Seek out ways to resist, speak up, and take action, no matter how small. Every effort matters because silence and complacency only strengthen their hold.
Fascism thrives when people give up, but we won’t. We can resist. We will resist. And in the end, we will win. The fight is far from over, but as long as we stand together, we’re unstoppable.
