To say that every single day doesn’t scare me, even just a little, would be a lie. Truthfully, most days feel like a challenge, just making it through can be overwhelming, and sometimes that reality is absolutely terrifying. There are moments when the weight of everything I’m carrying feels too heavy, and the uncertainty of what’s ahead tries to knock me off course. But despite the fear, I keep going.
I push forward because I have to. There are people who depend on me, and I refuse to let them down. But just as importantly, I depend on me. I’ve worked too hard, come too far, and sacrificed too much to disappoint myself now. The thought of giving up or falling short isn’t an option.
Every step I take, even the shaky ones, is a promise to myself and those who believe in me that I won’t stop. Fear may walk beside me, but it doesn’t get to lead. And no matter how hard it gets, I’ll keep showing up. Because I’m not just surviving, I’m fighting for the life I deserve. And that fight is worth every ounce of effort.
