I hate dealing with anxiety, especially because it often shows up uninvited, at the most random times. It makes me feel overwhelmed even when there’s nothing to be overwhelmed about. It’s a constant internal battle, reminding myself that nothing is wrong, that I’m simply living life.
But anxiety has a way of convincing me that everything is falling apart, even when things are actually okay. Not perfect, but good. And that’s enough. I have to work to help my mind catch up with that reality, so I’m not constantly walking around carrying stress I don’t need.
Sometimes it takes a little time, but eventually, I remind myself that everything is okay, and the anxiety eases.
So if you’re feeling the same, remember this: everything is okay, and every challenge can be faced. Don’t let anxiety convince you otherwise. You’ve got this.
