Good Morning World!!

There are days when everything feels heavy, and despite my best efforts, it’s hard to shift my focus to the positive things happening in my life. On those days, I sometimes just want to collapse, kick, scream, and cry, hoping that someone will magically come along and make everything easier. But life doesn’t work that way. No one can change my situation or my mood for me. Deep down, I know that it’s ultimately my responsibility to take control and shift my mindset.

And when I do, when I make the conscious decision to change my thoughts and let go of negativity, I not only feel lighter and more at peace, but things also start to move in a more positive direction. Bad days happen to all of us, and while it’s okay to feel those emotions, the real question is: Are you going to let those bad days linger, or will you take action to turn things around? I encourage you to choose the latter. You have the power to create a better day, even when it doesn’t feel that way at first.
