One thing I’ve learned over the years is that truly reliable people are rare. I’m someone who keeps my word, if I say I’m going to do something, I make it happen. But I’ve also realized that not everyone operates that way, and it can lead to a lot of disappointment. It also means I often end up relying only on myself.
I know there are other women who feel this too. So if you have someone in your life who is genuinely dependable, take a moment to check on them. Chances are they need support, but don’t have anyone they can lean on. And when they tell you what they need, follow through. Trust me, your follow-through could make a reliable person’s entire day.
