Good Morning World!!

“Begin where you are. Utilize what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe

My mom had surgery yesterday, and I’m so relieved to say it went really well. Now we’re stepping into the recovery phase, which means daily physical and occupational therapy so she can learn to walk again. It’s going to be a tough road, but we’re hopeful that by week twelve she’ll be strong enough to get back on her feet. That milestone is especially important because it keeps us on track for our: “Three Generations, One Journey,” our international family trip at the end of the year. This setback has been tough, but it’s also motivating us to push even harder toward that goal. So let’s get motivated!

Happy Tuesday!
