Independent women, aka “modern women” are under attack when it comes to dating and relationships. So I decided to blog about “The Truth About Independent Women.”
Independent women are not looking for a man to take care of them. Since independent women pay for their lifestyles they are not looking for a man to take care of them. This does not mean they want to date someone who is a dependent and can’t take care of themselves. They want a man who can support himself and will contribute as well.
They are looking for an equal partnership. Independent women do not need a “leader”, they are already the leader in their lives. They want a partner who is dependable and supportive.
Independent women don’t feel bad about leaving a relationship that doesn’t serve them because it’s not a necessity. Independent women do not see relationships as a need even if they desire to be in one. So if a relationship is not making their life better they have no problems leaving it.
Insecure men are often intimidated by independent women, which is probably why they spend so much time trying to either tear independent women down or compete with them.
Independent women enjoy their lifestyles. Despite people constantly spreading the narrative that independent women are “miserable”, single women with no children are the happiest people in society. Independent women often have strong friendships so they are not lonely, unlike single men.
Independent women expect men to be emotionally mature. Independent women don’t have the time to deal with emotionally immature men. I think this is why emotionally immature men hate independent women so much, they know the women will never be interested in them.
If an independent woman chooses to be in a relationship with you I can assure you she genuinely loves you because you have to be pretty special to get an independent woman to choose you.
