I came across this post by a pickme the other day:
Sadly, there are women who still believe that a woman’s whole purpose in life is to be married and have children. It’s also sad that so many people still do not understand what feminism is.
And the projection, Oprah cries herself to sleep every night? She would drop her amazing life to be married with kids? It’s clear this woman is jealous of Oprah’s life and freedom from patriarchy. Let’s be real there are probably millions of people who would trade lives with Oprah right now. She lives an AMAZING fulfilling life. One many of us aspire to live. She clearly is not alone. She has a great group of friends who she spends time with. A husband and children are definitely not an improvement on Oprah’s life.
At some point I wish the anti-feminist pickmes would just go worship their men (if they have any) and leave clearly happy women like Oprah out of their misery.
