In continuation of our series about Ro’s wife school I have decided to post another interview with one of her victims. This interview is from a man named Jason who was married to one of the cult members.

How did you find out about Ro’s Wife School?

Shortly after our 12th wedding anniversary, my ex-wife Tammy found Ro’s Free YouTube Videos for Wife School and her passive income courses. The idea of strengthening our marriage and transitioning out of a corporate grind to a stay at home wife lured her in and she began to consume the content.

What prompted you to join?

After watching most of the free content, Tammy and I spoke about her joining and I said, “sure.” I always supported my ex in whatever ventures she chose to follow, however, I explained that I honestly felt that some of the content which she shared with me was manipulative and I didn’t agree with it. Being a loving and supportive husband, I let her follow her heart and pursue the paid courses however.

How much money did you spend to join Ro’s Wife School?

At the time I believe that the paid content ran a few hundred dollars. Since we’ve separated and are now divorced, I’m sure that this figure is much higher now.

How long were you enrolled in Ro’s Wife School?

She was still enrolled as of our separation from what I remembered.

How much money have you spent in total?

Probably multiple thousands of dollars at this point. I do know that while we were separated she paid over $5k to travel to Morocco with the cult.

Were you asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement?

I’m unsure if she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement or not.

Did you gain anything from the experience?

This group destroyed my family. As an ex-husband directly affected by this cult (let’s call it like it is), my experience is very biased and negative. My wife and I were married for over 12 years (together for over 16 years) prior to her indoctrination. After she began spending time with the other cult members she became distant and slowly stopped speaking to me. One day I came home from work and she had completely moved out. All of our furniture, shared possessions and animals were gone. She left me a “Dear John” letter and I haven’t heard much else from her since then. After several futile attempts to talk things out (Ro and her mentors told her to leave me completely alone), she decided that a divorce was what she wanted. It’s come to my attention that she’s deeper than ever into this cult and in less than 3 months since signing our divorce papers, she has been paired with a new husband and is a “wife and mother.” Please note that ALL of these events have taken place in a very abbreviated time frame of 9 – 10 months total!

While enrolled were you allowed to ask questions about Ro’s Wife School?

I asked several questions about the entire setup while we were still together. This ultimately was not looked favorably upon by Ro and the mentors. When my ex-wife asked me to go along with her to a tea ceremony I politely declined and joked about it being a cult-like feeling. Little did I know at the time that my gut feeling was correct.

Were you enrolled in classes in person or online?

She enrolled online but then spent a lot of time with the group in person.

Is Ro the only teacher at her Wife School?

From what I understand she is the main teacher. I believe that there are some other teachers as well.

If you are no longer enrolled, why did you leave?

I believe that she is currently still enrolled.

Why do you want to speak about Ro’s school now?

I want to speak to both men and women from a husband’s perspective that was severely negatively impacted by this school. I want to share my story as a cautionary tale to those to not blindly follow people that really don’t have you or your family’s best interest at heart.

Do you believe Ro’s Wife School is a cult?

YES!. Read how this cult ultimately destroyed my family.

Have you reported Ro’s Wife School to any government agency? If so, which one(s) and why?

I would love to report them to a Government agency but at this point is it even worth it? Where would I start?

Is there anything else you would like us to know about Ro’s Wife School?

Stay away if you feel that you are happily married. While there are positive surface level lessons to be gleaned from her free content and books, I’d urge anyone thinking about joining this group to perform your due diligence and ask A LOT of questions. Question EVERYTHING that is told to you.

If you have also been a victim of Ro’s wife school please share your story.
