“Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced” – James Baldwin

Just in case you’re wondering I’m perfectly fine over here. As I stated yesterday my account is restricted (not suspended, I can still post) so I have no plans to create content on the Facebook platform until the restriction is lifted.

My account has reached approximately 200k people in the last 28 days. Yet somehow it’s been “restricted” based on a false premise. My account being restricted means Facebook won’t pay me for my content during the restriction, which is why I have no plans to create content on the platform.

Facebook from its inception has allowed harassment and discrimination against black women and personally I think it’s time to take a stand.

I wrote this article in 2020, “Why are black women being suspended from Facebook?” Nothing much has changed since then.

At some point I think we need to organize a boycott and lawsuit against Facebook but figuring out those logistics are a bit much for my plate right now. However, it’s time to take a stand. And I welcome anyone who is interested in taking a stand with me.

I’ll probably do a video about this soon but for now just know I’m good and you can always find me here. Oh if you want me to see your comments in a timely manner you’ll have to leave them here!

Happy Friday Everyone!!
