I treat people with kindness because I know that mistreating others won’t elevate me. As a result, I’m surrounded by caring individuals who regularly check in on me. While there are occasionally those who take advantage of my kindness, I refuse to let their cruelty make me bitter. I believe in letting people deal with the consequences of their actions on their own.
