Good Morning World!!

“I get angry about things, then go on and work.” – Toni Morrison

It’s okay to feel angry. Women are often pressured to suppress their anger because society doesn’t view it as acceptable for women to express anger openly, unlike men who can have full tantrums in public and still not be called “emotional”. However, expressing anger is a vital part of maintaining emotional and mental well-being. Anger is a protective emotion that often signals when we’re being mistreated, so don’t shy away from it. Instead, focus on finding healthy ways to express your anger. When you do, you empower yourself to move forward in a more positive and balanced way in life.

Happy Tuesday!
