Good Morning World!!
“Stress is an ignorant state. It believes that everything is an emergency. Nothing is that important.” – Natalie Goldberg
I’m still learning how to stop letting little things, especially those beyond my control, stress me out. Anxiety has a way of making everything feel urgent, demanding my attention and energy even when it’s not necessary. Learning to tell my own anxiety, no, that’s not important right now, is a process, and some days are harder than others. But with practice, it gets easier.
Anxiety thrives on keeping us in a constant state of panic, making every situation feel like an emergency. But the truth is, not everything needs to be fixed immediately, some things don’t need to be fixed at all. The more you start recognizing that, the more control you take back. So, practice saying no to panicked thoughts. Acknowledge them, but don’t let them dictate your reality. Over time, your anxiety will learn who’s really in charge.
Happy Wednesday!
