Many women and some men often talk about dating for love, or intentional dating. They see no point in dating unless it is for the purpose of a relationship, or love. That’s where many people are making a big mistake.

That is why many find dating to be frustrating. They have succumbed to the fantasy of dating and become disappointed when they find that their expectations are not reflected in their experiences. Nevertheless, while dating itself is not about love, it can be a skill to help you find it.
Dating is essential to getting to a relationship, but it is not a relationship. It is the skill you use to help you get to know the people you date, as well as yourself. The thing about relationships is that the people in good ones are compatible. Dating is the key to understanding compatibility. You see, if you never truly learn to date, and actually date, you will never give yourself the opportunity to find compatibility. Basically, if you never seriously take the time to date, you will tend to force relationships with people you should never be with. This will ultimately lead to unsatisfactory relationships.
If you really want love, it is important to understand that you must first know and love yourself. It is important to note, “Dating helps you learn about yourself.” – Date Like A Woman. You must also actually take the time to get to know anyone that you may possibly consider to be relationship material. To find love, you are going to have to find out who you are truly compatible with. So, take time to date, with the very simple intention of getting to know the person you are on the date with. If you happen to date someone you are truly compatible with, then that is when you should get into a relationship, for love.
